Shoulda went to Jordanelle
#1
I debated on going to Jordanelle yesterday but my wife and friends talked me into Willard bay. Launched the boat about 7am and only four other trailers in the north lot. We scooted over to the feed lot and trolled various cranks and worm harnesses at 1.1-1.4mph. We fished from 10' to 21' water temp between 53 and 55 degrees. No luck with very little wind, at 11:30 we headed over to the north dike. We bumped up the speed to 2.8-3mph and trolled up the dike zig-zagging between 15" and 24' water temp up to 56. No hits called it a day at 1:30, skunk went home with us . I am starting to wonder if my boat is allergic to fish therefor keeping them far enough away we never get to see what they look like.
