Went this morning ahead of the storms moving in. Got run off the water by the rain but had a couple pretty good hours. The water when we dropped the boat was already 63 and it has seemed to be staying over 60 for the last week of so. That means a couple good thing in my experience with early season fishing, one is the spawn will be getting under way and the other is top water! emoDance Put on a spook and caught several this morning. Nice to see some top water blow ups. Issue with the top water bite was size. It appeared the bigger girls were still out deeper. emoCrazy This is one screwed up year. Had to resort to the old faithful shakey for the better fish. emoRolleyes Had more fun watching the smaller bass blow up on the spook. Rain moved in just a little past noon so we headed to the house. Tight lines to you all! Keep'um wet. emoTongue Jmax

As usual here are a couple pics of our better bass....(Harry needs to work on his photos. emoDoh )
