Looks like a shaft on the gate broke, I'm guessing they're too cheap to have someone full time at the dam, so the fishery suffers, hopefully all the volunteers saved some fish.

planting willows at the berry, talking to school kids at environmental fairs, and trout in the classroom programs
to returning natives to streams thru TU, fish for garbage and other green orgs
you may be wrong in your assessment of "environmentalists" and keep talking the talk while we actually try to impact our enviorment in a positive manner

Thank you for everything you do. My experience has been about 5% of the folks who complain on any subject actually get off their backside, push the keyboard away and do something to correct the situation.
