Well last week Capt. Ben had two trips that were behind a front and on both trips, nobody caught much fish. One of the groups he took out, they only caught two sheepshead. And on the other group, they only caught 10 trout and a couple of small redfish.
This weekend, the fish perked back up and on Saturday morning, his group caught their limit out Speckled Trout. He went out Saturday evening with a one man charter and again caught their limit. He said that the evening trip was the best of all because all they had to do was through their poles over and the fish would bite as soon as it hit the water. On Sunday morning he took out two people out and they limited out on trout. He said that he took them out at 6:30am and they returned at 7:30 with their 50 Speckled Trout.
All the fish that were caught this weekend were caught on soft plastic lures under a cork with light tackle. As long as the weather stays good, the fishing should good!
