Hunters and anglers interested in learning more about issues facing Colorado's wildlife are invited to attend a public meeting Nov. 21. The southeast region Sportsman's Advisory Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Division of Wildlife (DOW) meeting room at 4255 Sinton Road in Colorado Springs.
Since their inception three years ago, Sportsman's Advisory Groups have worked with the DOW on wildlife management topics such as license fees and the Colorado Habitat Stamp Program.
There are four regional Sportsmen's Advisory Groups. "These groups help the DOW increase communication with sportsmen," said Southeast Regional Manager Dan Prenzlow. "We are interested in hearing from constituents about topics that concern them. This is a great way for those who are passionate about hunting and fishing to stay current on issues facing the sporting public."
If you are unable to attend the Colorado Springs meeting, there will be a Statewide SAG meeting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 2nd at the La Quinta Inn in Silverthorne.
Anyone who would like to attend should RSVP to Cher Schulze at (719) 227-5210.
