Terry called me last night and invited me to go to the Riverpark to fish for some of Mrwiskers pet spots. So, he, Fishinfire and I got on the water around 8:30 or so and fished until 2:30. We landed 104 total fish. 66 spots, 1 smallmouth, 7 crappie, 2 yellow bass, and the rest were a mixed bag of panfish. Googleyes, bream, rock bass, longears, etc. We had a little competition going there on numbers of fish caught. I ended up with 49 fish caught, Terry had 39 and Mike finished with 16. We each lost several spots that jumped and threw the lures that we didn't count. Sorry, MadBomber, we released all fish. I forgot to take something to carry them home with so we just let them go for Mrwiskers to catch again. emoBig <br /><br />We caught the fish on spinners, jigs, and live minnows. I didn't fish with the live minnows. Just the plastic minnows and a rainbow 2" plastic minnow with a tail light seemed to work better than other lures. Most of the fish came off riprap (MadBomber smiling now) and a lot of the fish that I caught came up tight to the rocks. I donated about a dozen jigs to the rocks, snags, etc., but that's why I buy them by the hundreds. emoBig emoGeezer It was a fun day, sunny, nice breeze most of the time and believe it or not, the Aquarium boat went by us at crawl speed without leaving much of a wake.
