I wasn't going to fish today, but I woke up at the right time and decided at the last minute to go out for an hour and topwater bass fish on the flat again. I landed every fish that I had on this morning. 6 largemouth bass, 1 spotted bass, and 2 yellow bass. There were a lot of yellow bass schooling with some LM mixed in the bunch. I quit very early, probably before the fish were through jumping. Who cares? They are just trashy green fish anyway. emoPoke emoBigSmile

The fish were schooling all around the boat this morning, but I had to change lures a couple of times to get them to hit the TW lures. I guess that they are either getting educated to the lures that I'm throwing, or I'm throwing one that is just a tad too large. The minnows that they are feeding on are only about 1 to 1.5 inches long. I need to go to Hamilton's and buy a smaller version of what I'm throwing.

That's it folks. emoBigSmile emoGeezer Oh, I was fishing on the surface in 6-10 feet of water. Didn't look at the water temp. Very gentle sw wind and partly cloudy.
