Kingfish, Chickamauga, Crappie, 8-26-09, Rick
#1
Rick and I met up this morning about 6 am and fished until 11 am. We waited at the boat ramp for a little more daylight. Of course that gave us time to finish some sausage biscuits before fishing.
We fished docks and bluffs on the river. The water temp ranged from 79* to 83*. The fish were scattered this morning. Caught Crappie on the docks in as much as 20' fow and as shallow as 6-8' fow?? On the bluffs the fish were holding in about 16' fow. After all was said and done we caught 26 Crappie with 17 being keepers and one suicide Bluegill. The bait of choice was Bobby Garland Baby Shad w/o the tails dipped.

As always Rick had a great time and already looking forward to our next fishing trip.
