Today I lost a tent pole to my cabellas ice fishing shelter. It is resting peacefully in its final resting place at the bottom of Mantua Res. It is a later model that they don't sell any more. I have another one to match it. Does any one know where I could find a place that might sell tent poles or make them? Hopefully in the Ogden area.

Try the Titanium Goat in Ogden.

Maybe Canyonland Sports in Riverdale.

I it a straight pole or one of the bent poles?
I think the 1/2" EMT thinwall is the same material as those poles.

It is one of the vertical members. Where do I find a 1/2" EMT lightweight? I am not sure what that is.

Head down to Lowes or Home Depot & ask in the electrical dept. They'll head you straight to it.
Good luck

E.m.t. is conduit for running wires to places that need to be protected.
A 10 foot stick is around 2 dollars. If you can't find someone to flute the end for you, just use a 1/2 " coupling to connect the pieces. They have set screws on both sides. Don't use the pot metal ones, use the shiny ones they are stronger. Be sure you deburr the end you cut so you don't cut yourself on the sharp edge. One of my shelters uses 1/2" emt for the support poles too.

[cool]Nathan, sorry to hear about your tent pole, but it sounds like you received some great advise here.
What I am curious to know is... Mantua still has safe ice?? I'm really surprised with these warm temps we've had for a week strait now...
I've gotta come up there and fish with you soon after these temps get colder again...
