25 Feb 2012, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Today I was joined by Eric, Andy, Steve and Joe from the Great State of Ohio. We found water temp’s as high as 57.9 degrees today in the backs of creeks. The winds of 15-25 mph made fishing a little bit of a challenge today but if you could hold on the right depth of water you could really have fun. We fished A-rigs, rattle traps, swim baits and Jigs. We found lots good fish around stumps and old grass with jigs and rattle traps. Our best fish came on umbrella rigs, rigged with Skinny Dipper Swim Baits on the new Assassinator Umbrella Rig Spinner Baits fished in 9 FOW. Most fish where in the 2.5-3.0 pound range with a couple of good fish one going 4.69 and another at 6.96 pounds. The guys also caught several good stripe to take home. We ran into some old friends from Kentucky and Young Tanner had to show off his big fish a 5 plus. We’re back at it in the morning, see ya’ll on the lake. I have days available; come spend a day on the lake with me. Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures, including A-rigs at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in†
Visit www.midsouthbassguide.com for more photos and sign up for my monthly newsletter
