Headed out to Bennett lake with THE WIZARD around 7am yesterday morning trying to pre-fish a little before the 10th. emoParty started with a white and red 3/8 spinner bait, and I was throwing a one of those wonderful Jerry Malone Beulah jigs(great jigs). Wasnt there long before he said get the net, and in the boat with a 2 1/2 lbs, good fish and nice color to. Had lot of wood in the water going up the river, and had to really look out for logs and brush tops floatin in the water. I boated a few flippin a 1/2 Rocky Top football head. not anything over 5 pounds emoTongue emoThumbsup. Through some of everything and had a hit on a C-Rigged red collor craw dad around 5 inch long. It was only about 3. The ones i got flippin was only a few 2 pounders and only one around 3.4 pounder. Left the camera at the house so didnt get to post pics.
