Final push for some bigger Cats

Hey all, just wanted to make an open invitation to whoever wants to go fishing tomorrow night along the bear/cutler (don't know where yet). I'm making my last late night push to catch some bigger kitties and get me on the board with something bigger than that 22" that I have. let me know!

At least you did get into a carp! (it did flop from belly up to boogie off after a few) I hooked a couple smaller bass on a crank, but nothing but peckerish little nabs by the kittens.

Too bad the wind, the rain, and yup - lightning - were a bit much for such little biting. Oh well. Nother time.

It was, thanks for honking lol. Nothing but baby channels all night, last night I caught a carp before we got blown out of there

I'm about to give up on that spot for cats all I get there is kittens and they are sure hard to hook. But it is a great access spot. I sure need to find sometime and get out after the cats again. It would be fun to float the section we did the flotilla on again and now the cats are back in the river I think we could catch some good ones. Only problem is time to do it. I still have a couple acres of grain to cut so I'm a ways off from catfishing but it's fun to dream about. Good luck and I hope you find the king cats. Later J

I know that hole you guys caught the first fish in really holds fish and not many people get there to fish it. I'd sure like to soak some bait in there for awhile. Better take a net if you try it. A good short float for a small boat could pull out where you guys have been fishing the last few nights. But it would take a boat you could lift and carry to the road. Let me know how it turns out. I'm thinnin even an afternoon floatilla could work. I need to try some river time for sure! So was the 'first spot' where we met the dogs?
I wouldn't mind running up river a bit- check a couple spots, then work down around a bend or two.

If there's a day - like Wed, Thur - that might work - I'd be game. May just "go it" if no one else has a 'pass'.

Yote that's a great idea and I'd love to come if I could but I can't this week. The hole I referred to was the big one before, but both of those two holes hold fish and are slim on pressure. Haha! It has been over a month since I have gone and chased some kitties, except for a couple of hours the other night. I need to get out more. But I have had fun chasing bass instead.
