I have fished Kens and one up on top, I think it was Dons lake. It has been quite a while ago on a deer hunt. They are put and take planter rainbow lakes - not bad for time passers when you are there hunting or scouting new country. Kind of a long way to go if fishing there is the main attraction.

Here's a link to lakes in the area.http://www.discovermoab.com/fishing.htm
I've only fished the streams. Mill Creek has the most but Beaver and Granite Creeks do have some trout. I think Beaver Creek might be the only place in Utah with Greenback Cutts and is artificial fly and lure only/ C&R all cutts because of it. Little fishing pressure. Nice place to fish as long as you don't have your sights on catching anything of size. If you bring a fly rod keep it as short as you have because there is a lot of brushy conditions to fight.

Fished Foy and Monticello Lakes in the national forest just west of Monticello in the Abajo (Blue) Mtns. in May. Did quite well with spinners at both. Lots of risers whenever the clouds went over and the wind died down so you should do well with flies. Lots of cover around the perimeter at Foy but wide open at Monticello. Nice sized rainbows.
The Blanding lakes, north of town, have trout and an occasional bass or bluegill, too. They would be fun though not nearly as pretty in the fall.
