Gary (Biofisher) sent me a pm the other day and told me that he was completely out of fish and wanted a crappie trip. We hit the water today. Supposed to be 95 today, but the Lord gave us an umbrella nearly the entire time that we were out and we never did get very hot. No wind today and although the lake was above summer pool, we were able to shoot some floating docks and find fish.

We had 23 keepers for his freezer and about 70 total fish caught. Only crappie today and no junk fish. We used 1/32, 1/16, and 1/24 oz jig heads with Bobby Garland 2" shad minnows in various colors, but Outlaw Special was special today. Ghastly minnow was good, Electric Chicken was good and Cajun Cricket was good as well. I even caught a couple on Ladybug minnow minders.

We shot docks and fished off shore structure. 66,000 CFS caused us to lose several jigs as the current would push our jigs down into the cover. But that is why we buy them by the 100's. emoBig

Thanks for going with me today, Gary. Looking forward to another trip with you before school starts back up again. emoBig emoGeezer
