SpurHunter, Chic, White bass, 6-11-13, family
#1
Mom is in town so she had mentioned going fishing and we got out last night. Took the whole fam damily minus the hounds. I heard that some whites were schooling on the main channel, I trolled around checking sonar to no avail. I had dropped to marker buoys on some bait while circling around. At one point a boat pulls up, eases over to my buoy and starts fishing, the buoy is rubbing the boat, no kidding. I could honestly care less, but it was comical. I decided enough was enough and pulled the two rods in, and eased up to retrieve my buoy from under the guys boat…its none other than Turk. I gave him a hard time and ragged him about his age, looks, hole jumping, etc. I said if I was a bass fisherman, Ida prolly rammed his boat for fishing “MY” hole.

I gathered some more intel from multiple sources and determined it wasn’t going to happen for us and we gave mom a tour of Wolftever instead. All in all a nice evening out with the family.
