ANOTHER.......Ririe Update

Drove out to Ririe and checked out the ice. Never heard ice popping, cracking and singing so loudly. Chipped out a hole and it measured only 2.75 inches thick and only to my eye was there about an inch and a half of good ice. The other part looked like snow that had melted and froze. Nothing gave me any confidence that you would want to walk out on it. I walked out to end of the dock, too chicken to step on ice being a fat boy you know! Here are a few pictures.

The fishing has been slow anyhoo. Some trout but the schools of Kokanee flash past and you are lucky to end up with one or two at the end of the day. Perch fishing has been slow as well.
