taxidermist info..
#1
I have this fish you see I want to get it mounted, does any one have any recommendations for a good taxidermist with a not rediculous price.. It is prepped already wrapped in white cloth plastic bag and laying flat in freezer. And I have 50 pictures of it with its colors correct. And measurements taken as well. Let me know a decent one you. know of. Thanks.

I like Michael jones. I'm not sure what he charges. He doesn't do skin mounts. He carves them and paints each one. He does beautiful work. You can see his work on Instagram or on his website fishbymike.com

I recommend checking out any taxidermist work. With fish you really get what you pay for. Your gunna have to look at your fish for a long time and a crappy mount/paint job will not make you happy

Mike Jones has done a couple of fish for me that were skin mounts but that was several years ago. His price then was a dollar more per inch but I am 4 miles from him.
