i drove by last week on my way to maprock it looked like the water is higher this year than last year might go try the Caldwell dam today

Thanks and good luck I hope it drops a little by the 15 always seems like fishing is better this time of year when the water is just at the base of the first line of trees or a little below.

The water is 5-7' deep along the outer edge of the willows. The lake was filling around 3+ inches per day, but has now slowed down as they have opened the canals that are fed by the NY Canal before the water gets to Lake Lowell. Yesterday the level went up a little over an inch. The lake is a bit over a foot from being full. This water level is above the average for the date. The lake level will probably not start to drop for a month or so.

Very full now, fished a little at the gravel road from the bank. Met a nice guy fishing, he had a few good bites, I finally had one take my senko and tear it in half. We both wished we had some waders or a pontoon to get out deeper (and the ability to retrieve my lures would have been nice).

i went out tonight did well on senkos for bass and chicken liver for cat fish water temps are warm enough for wading in shorts now
