Congrats on your first koke. You should have that crawdad mounted.

[quote liketrolling]I saw a post about planer boards, I love them
in this you tube you will see me catching one kokanee using them
the other koke was got before I could hook the lure to the board
we did get a catch of a life time we got a Crawdad on the bottom down 110 feet.

Great video, especially when out of the dark the Koke's all started showing up.
How about a little more information on how you set up the planer board.
Thanks, Brian

How did you mount the GoPro to the downrigger ball? I have been towing with trying it, but wasn't sure what was the safest method to not lose the camera in the drink.

I thought maybe that was how you were setting it up. I have been thinking about giving it a try on Willard, since you showed me how to do it last year on Strawberry.
I think it would be a great idea to do a video on how you do it, to share with others. I would be glad to be the cameraman.
I would also be glad to share AutoChart information with you, all though you would most likely contribute the most, seeing how you get out more often than me.
The first thing you need to do to start mapping a body of water, is set a waypoint as a depth control point, so you can update your map for the changes in water elevation from trip to trip or from year to year.
It's not very hard, I actually just finished mapping Bountiful Pond with contour lines, just for fun and to get use to the software.

Do you use the Otter type boards with an American flag on each, if so I commend you for your patriotism.
