It was a great day
about 8 am when I arived it was 30 deg. when I left at 1:30 PM it was 67 deg
some ice on the water but when I left no Ice had flat water all day
I had a hard time finding fish.
but what made the day so good was I learned how to use my Garmin Live scope I hardly ever looked at the poles I had in the water. I'm sure I missed some fish
they just made a new up date that makes it better than the humminbird 360. this is what it looks like, go down to the video

it only has a 20 deg cone (but it is not a cone) so I can only see one downrigger ball and I can see the lure with a 10 to 20 foot set back from the ball. I was down 20 feet.
you could see fish come up from 40 feet down and look at the lure.
I may not catch more fish with this but it sure is fun to watch.
can't wait to start fishing using this for Kokanee. It should work good.
and Sturgeon the hard part will be to turn this and find them.
