I went out to Lincoln beach today to try some shore fishing from my favorite spot and see if the cats are biting yet. I haven’t had a bite there yet this year so I was hoping they are starting to move in. I got there about 1115 and waited for 30 before I got my first bite. It was only about 12" but it was enough to get me excited that the catfish are starting to show up. Another 15 minutes went by and I caught another monster of a 12"er. I of course didn’t keep them but again I got hope that with this warmer weather my favorite spot will start producing when I want to shore fish. I left at 1240 as the honey at home had plans for me but today was promising.
