A Berry Beginning
#1
A good buddy & I took my nephew to the Berry for his first time Kokanee fishing yesterday. It was a little slower for us than it had been in recent weeks but still good fishing. The youngin probably lost 7 or 8 Kokanee but did land several. We also put him onto several Cutties and a bow. It was windy from the get go and never really let up. We called it a day about 9 am or so so as it was getting way to rough for my little bucket. Most fish were caught on watermelon or a pink & chartreuse combo

Good thing you quit when you did. The waves soon turned into white caps after 9:00 a.m.

Nice bunch of fish! That will make for some good eating.
