Fox 13 news
#1
Mooseman and I did some night fishing at Lincoln Beach yesterday. It was a "meh" outing -- caught a few, nothing big.

In the evening Fox 13 was there filming with a couple of drones. Just wondering if anyone knows what that was about. Anything on the news?

The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

Probably the algal bloom expanding to other areas of Utah Lake, including Lincoln Marina:

They seem to do it yearly now. I noticed them last year in Provo.

A couple hours later, I got a message from my cousin warning me about the algae in the lake with a link to the story I ran. I took a screenshot and told her that the guy in the pic probably came back in rough shape.

Wasn't from the algae though. I got an extremely nasty sunburn on that trip. I somehow missed a patch of my leg with the sunscreen. It's still got a dark spot a year later. My back was pretty burnt up too. Definitely worried more about the sun than some stupid algae.

Seriously guys, bring lots of sunscreen and bug spray.

Definitely a sunburn. I have a permanent brown spot now. Had a few cancer screenings just to be sure.

I forgot which post I was on. Thought it was the one about catfishing at night. Suncreen? Do you mean moonscreen?

I think we shifted to the news and the algae thing for a minute.
