Carp shooting locations?

Anybody seeing any carp in the shallows anywhere? Wondering if I can get into any this Saturday walking the shoreline. I could travel from provo to Logan and anywhere in between.

Benson marina and surrounding areas should be loaded with carp for easy shots from the shore. Good luck and please aerate all you see.

I know a place I can almost guarantee at least one good close shot any morning before 7 am. Thats probably all you will get at this spot though. If you are interested PM me.

[#0000FF]No guarantees anywhere. Spawn is long over but some carp cruise near shore in the mornings looking for midges and other aerial stuff that has fallen in overnight. Inside the harbors at Utah Lake can produce a few shots. Ditto for along some shorelines. But more likely you will need to get on the water for some carp clumps that form while the water is still calm in the morning.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Walking the rock dikes at Willard can be good...at times. A lot depends on recent winds...direction and velocity.

I have shot them on the dikes at Willard but it's some rough walking. Maybe try Benson marina this time.
