Utah Lake May 4th Floatilla Planning Session
#1
[#505000]I have been yacking at Tube Dude about getting a Utah Lake floatilla planned to go after the kitty fish. After much yacking a Floatilla planning session will be held at my hacienda in Utah County. [/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]I have room for about 10-12 bodies before it starts to get uncomfortable. (That isn't counting the bodies in the trunk of my car, buried in the backyard, or stored in the extra freezer in the garage). Looks like the floatilla itself will happen Saturday May 7th. [/#505000]

[#505000]This should be a great chance for us Utah County guys to corner Tube Dude and pump all kinds of useful fishing information out of him, and to set up tubes for the big float. [/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]For those interested send me a PM and I will get you my address, directions, ect.... [/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]I'm guessing we will meet sometime between 6pm-7pm. I'll let people know for sure via PM. [/#505000]

Don't think I can make the planning session, but I'll try to make it out for the flotilla at Lincoln Beach on the 7th.

If you've never been to a get together with TubeDude before, be prepared for a brain hemmorage of knowledge. The man has such vast knowledge and is so willing to share it. So take notes because you won't get the info your looking for anywhere else unless you buy one of his books. Have fun! Al

Great idea svpdgcar !

A floatilla that is - and a planning session to boot. Although I may not be able to get all the way down there for brainstorming(seeing that you live down there in Utah county - right next to Arizona ) for the planning session, I would very much be interested in the floatilla for catfish. Who knows, I might could even be able to get to the meeting itself - depends on a boatload of things. Keep us folks out here on the internet in the loop so we can join in festivities too.

How late do you expect to be "planning"? I would love to come, but I usually don't leave my office until 7:00-7:30, unless work is slow.

Addendum: Just found out, I'm a go for the 7th, barring any changes at work. Looking forward to it.

[Tongue] [#505000]This keeps getting worse and worse!!! Who's bright ideas were these dates!?!?!? [Wink][/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]Now I at least don't have to worry about all you fly guys crawling through my bird room collecting feathers!! [laugh] Although it would be a heck of a way to get the room cleaned up! [/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]Ok we'll plan on canning the event on the 4th, and meet on the morning of the 7th. I'm still working out some nasty details that cropped up at work, but I am owed a few favors so I should still be able to make it that morning.[/#505000]

First, I read TD's remark, "If I was you, I would re-read your last statement....They might think you were kinda kinky...or worse."

Second, I quickly looked to FlyingFish's comment, "If my donut still holds air that is....As long as I'm floating in something I'll be happy."

Third, I had myself a pretty good laugh. [laugh] Funny stuff. [sly]

If BFT has a "Classic Comments" board, this should definitely make the list.

It is better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

I was going to edit my post but then thought, "just leave it and give everyone a good chuckle." Dont mock me too harshly.[blush]

Just grab some waterwings and one of those "medical" donuts. As long as you can float, you can fish.
