Michigan Walleye Fishing Reports

Out of the Menominee area, anglers on Lake Michigan near the mouth of the Menominee River are catching a few walleye.

Anglers trolling Rapalas on Saginaw Bay are catching a few walleye. The best fishing is found between Au Gres and Lookout points.

Anglers able to get out in boats are starting to reel in a few walleye. The best area to do some trolling is between Linwood and Pinconning.

By Port Huron, anglers are starting to catch a few walleye in the St. Clair River. The best fishing is found near the mouth of the Black River.

Anglers out on the St. Clair River near Algonac and on the North Channel between Algonac and Fair Haven are catching a few walleye.

On the south end of Lake St. Clair, near the mouth of the Detroit River, the walleye fishing is very good. The walleye fishing is also pretty good near Belle isle and the AmbasSador Bridge.

Along the south end of the Detroit River, the walleye fishing is very good between Wyandotte and Gibraltar. Anglers are handlining and jigging in water seven to 15 feet deep.
