Until just a few days ago, I hadn't ever heard of Settlement Canyon Reservoir before. But apparently, people can't keep the fish off of their lines. Has anyone been there recently? I'd like to find out if it's worth trying. If you have, what worked best for you?
Thanks[fishin]

The 'Berkley' worms in the package with a marshmellow work very well at Settlement. Don't use the whole worm, only small pieces, they'll send you to the poor house.
Good luck !!

Thanks for the info. I'll probably give it a try on Saturday. How about the hardware? I've heard that tigers react best to spinners and spoons.

Yeah everyone says it blowing up with how hot the fishing is but I have trouble believing it. Give her a whirl and let us know how she goes. You'd think I'd fish it more since I can have my line wet within five minutes from leaving my front door.

I fished it Sunday morning @ sun up until about 11:30. Caught a bunch of small chubs and a few bows but all were too small to keep. Same old story up there for me. I fished with four other guys and same story with them. I suppose I just dont know where to fish up there because it always frustrates me. They were biting best on salmon eggs believe it or not.
