Willard question

[]hey I was wondering if anyone has caught any crappies at willard this year or the last few. I have'nt been to willard chasing crappies for about 5 years. Should be getting close to crappie time thanks good luck fishin

[cool][#0000ff]The crappie population is way down from what it used to be, and is not likely to be very good this year. There have been two years of low water and poor spawning.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I got a few crappies in the NW corner last year, fishing out off the gravel banks in 5 feet of water. It started about the first of May. Think Mothers Day for a middle of the run date.[/#0000ff]

thanks tubedude for the info. I have'nt fished for them for a long time and was thinking about trying sometime. If I go I will let you know how the fishing is thanks trfishin
