Fished below Wilson today, mostly just to see what was down there after the flood waters finally went down. I started throwing the samurai shad and caught a couple of white bass. Then I hooked up with what felt like a concrete block that would move just enough to let me know I wasn't hung. About 30 mins later I finally netted my biggest catfish ever. It went 40 lbs 8 oz on my scales. After that, I found some bait and caught several 5 lb blue cats.
