My son is coming into town Thurs. I am thinking of going to Henry's Lake, float the Green, or stay close and hit Strawberry. Has anyone heard of flow or catch reports? any help would be preciated, also flies to use. Thanks is advance.

Henry's is very slow, Green is always awesome, and Strawberry in the 20+ foot.

Thanks PACK FISH, but this is the FLY FISHING forum..he, he, he.
I was assuming we were talking FF. Heck I have a friend that had a 100 fish day last week, but he is a very good fly fisher.

If someone can catch them on hardware- I can catch them on a fly. Just have to row like a #$%** to get up to that trolling speed. (0:

I hear that, but back to the question...Henry's is back to being technical...if pressed for time, the Green is a good choice and Strawberry.
On another forum, a friend checked in and said he had been at Henry's all week but the numbers were down. Ones taken had some size, but far and few.
If time is not an issue...then by all means HENRY'S.

Also the North Fork will be very good- the Green Drakes should be on- so you could hit that on the way up to Henrys or on the way back.

Drift boat would be like any other boat I would think.
I am not good with directions as I am always a passenger. While heading to West Yellowstone from Henry's, take the first exit to Hebgen. From there I go to the first Camp Ground/Launch. You can see the arm of the Madison and sometimes an island out in the middle. I head for the island with great luck then float down the arm a little ways.
