I've fished in Utah 3 or 4 times, mostly the Middle Provo, Weber and even once at Green River. Love the area, of course this year there's so much water!! Saw on guy with 3 nice Brownie's, caught on crappie rigs!!
Two weeks ago we tried the middle Provo again and almost got washed away. Hard fishing under the high, fast water circumstances. Only caught one 14 incher. We understand the reserviors are 105% of capacity.
Anyway, we tried Strawberry Reservoir for the first time and loved it. Large fish! We fished out of a 14' boat from the marina. Problem is, that is such a huge body of water that we couldn't cover but a small area with the boat and a 9hp motor.
Is there anywhere to rent something larger? I guess we could hire a guide, but we like to do it ourselves.
