took the son for a quick short trip tonight and we had a blast.. pulled up to a spot we have been on fish all summer(extended point in about 15 ft of water with deep water on all 3 sides) and they were there.. 2nd cast I hooked one and we caught fish for about 45 mins straight.. I got 9 and he caught 2. He caught his on a shaky head with a watermelon utale zoom and mine came on the big 11&amp;quot; yum worm in watermelon.. After 7 fish i tied on the football jig and caught 2 on it.. Maybe i can figure this jig thing out after all emoToast All fish were small between 12-14 inches but still a blast.. Son just loves catching them on artifcial bait.. Wont be long before he is outfishing me Im sure..fished for about 1 1/2 and called it a night.. <br />
