I know certain community ponds will get stocked quite heavily with them. My kids have caught more than they can count this year at one of them.
We used to catch them quite regularly on the upper stretches of the Weber, but that was many years ago. [signature]

Ponds and Uinta lakes. But some of the ponds get Palaminos. They are all white like albino's, but they don't have the red eyes.

I caught one in the Logan this year. The reservoirs on The Logan all have them, though this one was several miles upstream of the last res. I'm pretty sure Tony Grove lake up Logan Canyon has them too. The DWR site has stocking records you should check as well. They go back several years.

I caught a bunch of them during the muzzleloader hunt. I was fishing Potters Ponds- they're on skyline drive south of Huntington Reservoir.

Yes the state has them planted all over. Here is the link to the DWR stocking report. This will give you an idea where the fish are. [url "http://wildlife.utah.gov/stockingreports/"]http://wildlife.utah.gov/stockingreports/[/url]

All I know is I caught one and posted as an Albino. Then a Taxidermist pm'd me that it was a Palomino and he had stuffed many

People actually target this species! lol! [sly] The only albinos I have caughten were when they beat the bows to my fly. And man, what a fight they put up, like reeling in a clump of moss. [laugh]

They actually are bows, they're just albino ones. The one I caught out of The Logan this summer fought just like any other rainbow. Not that I specifically target them, but I don't really see much difference except that the albinos don't have as good of vision.
