Slow....ish day on the LP
#1
Needed a fix so I hit the LP yesterday, usually don't fish on Saturdays due to the crowds but I needed to go. Got to the LP too early, way before sun up and the fish were sluggish, but my buddy hooked into two quick ones but nada for me.

When the sun finally decided to hit the water the action picked up a bit, midges were coming off and the fish got a bit more active. I think I ended up with 20 or so all smaller Browns and Bows'.

Best bugs were:

Brassie
Red Copper John
Black WD40
Black Zebra Emerger

You ever try a Cripple? When they are rising I slap on those and emergers. Wondered if you had luck with such.

Didn't fish a cripple yesterday, went with a midge when they started rising but didn't have any that small and they weren't interested in my two sizes to large one[:/], continued nymphing and finished out the day in some awesome weather[Wink]

Jealous for sure. Only work one day this week coming up. I think I need to hit the lower. First, I got to tie up some #18 Red Copper Johns[cool]

The warm weather is giving me spring fever, wondering how much run-off we are getting this year.
