No, I want to still go, but have to see what the day holds. If I can't get out till later say 10, then I will probably hit the Provo. Much closer.

were fishing the middle all day tomorrow, got the biggest of the day out of there today went 20 according to my highly scientific measurement tool fashioned from space quality garbage, aka some marks on my fly rod. for the lower seemed like they liked dark colored streamers with a touch of flash in the tail. for the middle they liked blood midges, or red zebra midge if you cant find any of those

Is the Morgan area still considered the lower? That's a nice fish, I was able to hook up an 18-19" on my 3rd cast! Thanks for the tips of the flys... I need to get a wider variety of streamers for sure

Were you fishing closer to rockport (wanship) or echo (coalville). No specifics but i am curious because i fished around the wanship area and it really seemed to lack a good population of trout. I caught 3 under 12" and a couple big ol' whities. I fished quite a few quality holes and just didn't seem to get into them.

Holy crap dude... I would TOTALLY avoid the weber right now! You and everyone else has the exact same idea. I have never in my life seen so many people on the weber before.... Combat fishing at it's finest. Might as well been people lined up to hit holes. That's how bad it was. Enjoy the crowds tomorrow if you do decide to go. You should be good with Monday though.

500+ views this thread alone. It's been the new Provo for a while now and will only get worse in the future[pirate].

thats alright.. then we can go hit the provo.. good midge hatch!!! They are two rivers in a short vicinity of a huge population center, of course they are going to be packed on the first weekend of march!

I personally think it is better than the alternative... no one to care and conserve the awesome fisheries that we have. There are plenty of other streams to fish in Utah for those willing to put in the effort!
