<br /> Hooked up with Matt after work Friday to put some fresh filets in his freezer. <br /> A few dozen shiners and some light line was all it took. We caught a very mixed bag of crappie, white bass, channel and blue cats, spotted bass, a couple LM and a skipjack to round out the night. We were both really surprised how many crappie were caught, pretty unusual for running large shiners, but that&#39;s why I love the live bait bite, you just never know. I lost the fish of the night, a giant crappie that pulled off at the boat. Ill get him next time.
