I was reading my April issue of Outdoor Life when I came across a article about the high cost of premium optics. It gave some ideas on how to buy them cheaper, like Ebay but it also listed a website where you can rent them for $15-20 a day. That's a great option Curt. I know a lot of guys that go buy the nice stuff for their hunt, then turn right around and sell it to get their money back. This would save some hassle for sure.

Yea, that is what the article was saying. They were quoting prices from Swarovski and spending $3,000 for a spotting scope. Way out of my price range but renting for $15 to 20 a day is much better imo. Those rental prices are for 10x42 and 15x56 Swarovski binoculars.
