Sounds about right. PaliSades and Ririe take Forever to freeze but I thought with how much colder it's been this year than the past few it might have froze early. Maybe I will have to try the creek side soon. I love the cuttys.

If you don't mind me asking, did you do any good? You don't need to give numbers or anything you used, just wondering if you found a fish or two.

We fished Creekside for a couple hours last Saturday. You could have probably caught all of the 6" Kokanee that you wanted. We didn't give it too long and then hit the south fork with nymphs and found some bigger fish. If you want to fish PaliSades Creekside bring a ladder or something to bridge the bank to the good ice. The edges are soft and our first step broke through. Any luck for anyone Lakeside?

PaliSades was hot today! Got to where we decided to fish today around 7:30 and the bite was on as soon as we dropped our lines. We had 7 lines out and immediately started getting hits on our dead sticks while setting them up. Started jigging around 8am and caught the rest of our limit by 10am. On another note access was horrible!!!!!! It was a slush fest where we were. They are filling the lake fast. All I will say is we weren't at Big Elk.

It varied depending on where you walked but most of what we were experiencing was 6 inches of slush covered by about a foot of snow.

Does anyone think this cold weather will make the edges better , making it easier to get on the lake . Thinking about going Wednesday .

I was at Ririe yesterday and the cold temperatures has frozen the slush that was formed from the Friday night snow. We had solid ice to walk on. I suppose with two days of single digits in the valley would also freeze the sides of PaliSades. Best of luck today.
