So tired of the knee jerk reactions, over reactions, to Alge. I have posted before my experience with blue/green algae in two different States.

They don't even bother to report it.

Sure, if it was several inches thick, or if you drink it, or bathe in it, or ........

And it does not always form from mad made causes either. Sometimes natural fertility of the water is enough to do it. Deep lakes can get it also.

Two of the lakes I think of, one in Idaho, one in Washington, are two of the best lakes I have ever fished. UL is not so bad either.

They way things are, soon we will be afraid of our own shadows.

But, this is just my educated, even if less then humble, opinion.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling, I think I'll go fishing to celebrate it.
