I don't do facebook but my Son said it was in Nyssa, I guess that is close to the Oregon border. The farmer can't get anyone to pick it for him, so instead of letting it go to waste, he is giving it away, up to 100 pounds per person. 
Sorry I did not post this on the off topic board but I figured more people will see it here, I'll move the post to that board on Sat.

That's pretty cool. Prices are down so low in Albertsons it's probably tough to find pickers.
