Thanks, I usually get off the lake by noon to keep my brain from frying. Saturday it wasn't supposed to get over 80 until late afternoon so I stayed at it longer.

It always surprises me when you can fish the same area on consecutive days and the results vary a lot. I hope to see some more 30's from the you and them while I'm out of town
When I went out on Tuesday I planned to pick up some wb at the launch but the only ones active were the YOY. Managed to catch two bigger ones for bait. I have a g-son coming down from BYU Idaho on Thursday so I went out today (Wed.) to try for some bait. The wb were everywhere in the channel -- YOY, teenagers, and biggies. I had no trouble catching a buck full using a small spinner. They were feeding on emerging midges and pretty much ignored my spinner offering but being as aggressive as they are some of them could not resist the spinner.
I met Richard and Vi at the launch and they were planning on going to the Knolls area again. I had to share with them the terrible tale of the monster I lost on Tuesday. Richard had also lost a big one at the Knolls. I think the big ones are either there of working into that area. I'm kinda looking forward to R and V's report later today. Hopefully they can hook up with one of those monsters like the one you caught.
Interesting to read about how your fish made big long runs. The one I lost (3 fow) came right to my boat and would not leave the the shadow of my boat. He made several short runs around the boat but would not leave. The entire battle involved me trying to work around the boat as I tried to steer him clear of the two motors. If he would have made a nice long run I could have use my drag to wear him out. Sure would like one more chance at him or her. Fun times.
Anyhow, watch for R and V's report today. I bettin' they find some big ones. And, again, great fish!
