Marlin
Good week for marlin on the pacific side at the Lighthouse, Migrino and Golden gate, most fish being caught on lures and live bait. We released 4 marlin on Sunday, 3 on Monday, 1 on Tuesday, 6 on Friday from 100 Lb to 150 Lb.
Dorado
Dorado fish still here, there wasn’t much action this week but they are still around Migrino and Los Arcos between 15 Lb to 20 Lb on lures, rapalas and ballyhoo.
Tuna
No reports, some boats went 48 miles offshore and others up to 56 miles and found zeros.
Wahoo
More Wahoo showed up this week at Los Arcos and Migrino on lures, rapalas and ballyhoo, we caught 1 wahoo on Tuesday and I went fishing on Wednesday and caught 3, yummy dinner!
Rooster
No reports this week.
Inshore
Good numbers of sierras and white bonito on hoochies.
Come on down to Cabo!
The weather is great and all the restaurants, bars, nightclubs and beaches are open!

Jc’s Sportfishing Charters is a family owned and operated business and has been fishing in Cabo San Lucas for the past 18 years. WEATHER: Reviewing the forecast for Cabo San Lucas Over the next 14 days and the average daytime maximum temperature will be around 26°C, with a high for the two weeks of 29°C expected on the afternoon of Monday 14th. The average minimum temperature will be 17°C, dipping to its lowest on the morning of Friday 18th at 16°C. Expect the next 14 days remain predominantly dry. On the whole winds are likely to be moderate.

Seared Wahoo with Mango Salsa
INGREDIENTS
- Mango Salsa
1/2 medium red onion, diced
2 1/2 cups mango chunks
2–3 green onion stalks, diced
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeño, diced
1 lime, juiced
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp sea salt
- Seared Wahoo
4 wahoo fillets
2 Tbsp avocado oil
sea salt
pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Mango Salsa
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix gently with a spatula.
2. Chill for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
Seared Wahoo
1. Dry the fillets completely.
2. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. When the oil is hot, carefully add the fillets and cook for 4 minutes. Make sure there is adequate space between the pieces of fish.
5. Flip the fillets and cook for 4 more minutes or until done. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the fish fillets you are using.
6. Top with mango salsa and enjoy!
SUMMER TENTALIZER
Summertime Fruit Punch Lemonade
Ingredients
1 slice watermelon
5 parsley leaves
1 1/2 ounces vodka (Ciroc)
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce agave nectar
Splash of sparkling pink lemonade
Garnish: seasonal fruits
Instructions
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. Muddle the watermelon and parsley in a cocktail shaker.
3. Add remaining ingredients and ice, and shake well.
4. Double strain into an ice-filled collins glass that is half-rimmed with sugar.
5. Top with sparkling pink lemonade and garnish with assorted fruits.
6. Serve and enjoy!
BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs. You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report.
