Memorable as in sentimental and I will never forget it? Then I've got to go with a river. I learned how to fish on the North Fork of the Duchesne River. It was the only place that I had ever wet a line until I was close to 12 years old. I remember one time in particular when I was about 5 years old. My grandpa took me...just me...and we walked down the river a couple a mile or so. I can't remember if the action was fast or not...in fact...I only remember catching one fish for sure, but I will always remember the alone time with Grandpa. He got cancer that winter and wasn't able to fish the river again. I have fished with him since then, but it has always been from the bank of an area that is easy to get to....it just hasn't been the same.
Now, if you're talking memorable as in a lot of fish being caught, then I would have to go with lakes hands down. Specifically... Pelican, Current Creek Res., and Strawberry. And...hopefully I will soon be able to add some Arizona lakes to that list.
