Thanks Kent for the info. I guess you are right about Utah lake being shallow and the noise factor. I had another thought, what about Deer Creek, I have been hearing a lot of good reports on big rainbows being caught and there are some good walleye and some huge perch there, even smallmouth. I think it is close enough so it would be easy for a lot of people to attend, plus not everyone enjoys trout fishing but when you have the choice of both(warm and cold water fish)how can we go wrong. We still have a few months to discuss this so this is just another opinion. WH2
