Sorry to be contantly bugging you guys...
Regarding my post earlier about "Catfishing in MI", I've recently been hearing about Maple River, one of the tributaries to the Grand River as a prime spot for Channel Cats.
I looked at some various maps of the river and tips to go along with it and it also said a strong smallmouth and pike fishery. It looks like a pretty secluded river which is what I am looking for, so if anyone knows of any places to possibly pitch a tent on this river, or has any helpful information about it, tips, hints, bait, etc. Please let me know, very interested.
