Wish I lived closer to the Flamming Gorge

Ya I might live under the bridge and just work for food and gas money for the boat if I lived any closer. Did the big ones hang out in around 100'+ of water. When I was there it seemed like I marked a lot of fish at 60' but I only caught 4 lb'ers. I was told to fish south of Anvil if I wanted to catch bigger lakers. Do you think that is true.
Have you ever caught a Burbot (spelling) jigging the Gorge.
