i was being a little sacastic..point is this is public land and the fish that are stocked in it are paid for by everybodys licences..why do only a sellect few get to use it..
If you statement is true then why not go Chumming in Strawberry Its public, and stocked how about I get cases of corn from costco and dump a few dosen in or Start my own netting survey in Schofield... I bet I can pull some huge tigers outs that way... I’m exaggerating here but you can see how detrimental it could be to a fishery by people not following the regs.
The regs are there for a reason we as fisherman all have to follow whatever regs are on whatever body of water were on its not special treatment for a "select few".
Also buying a fishing license isn’t a license to kill Just because you laid down 26 bucks for a license doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want cmon that statement is absurd If that was the case forget the law im gonna fish with 10 fishing poles because I purchased a fishing license" 26 bucks doesn't allow anybody with a fishing license to break the law or even more so ruin a fishery for generations.
Maybe its the influx of people moving to Utah or maybe some just don't care anymore but its amazing how people treat one of Utah greatest assets like a old rental car. Ive traveled enough to get a better understanding how blessed we are to have rivers like the Weber & Provo in our backyards. Ive visited areas were people have to drive literally 6 to 8 hours just to get a stream a tenth of what the Weber has.
Lets not turn our local streams into sewage. []
