I lived in Socal until 1982. We used to fish off the rocks in Palos Verdes, Pt Vicente to be exact. We'd also go up to Paradise Cove to rent one of their fiberglass tubs w/6HP motors. The bait well was built into the boat, and hung down into the water. It had holes in it to allow water to circulate. We rarely caught anything of size.

For the last nine years I've been trailering over to Washington, fishing salmon, and the last three years, tuna. What a blast.
