After reading some posts today, I thought it'd be fun to hear about unusual places you've fished that produced fish and/or unusual places that you haven't fished but wondered if it had fish in it. Examples could be canals, little obscure ponds, streams, etc. Not to mention you hear about back country ponds and streams that produce pretty good, how do people find these? I'll start the thread:
One spot I remember fishing as a kid was a little pond down off the old highway in springville. There was a little pond down off the west side of the road (apparently there used to be a steel mill right by this pond), and we would catch trout out of it. I'm not sure if other people even fished it. And i'm not even sure if that pond exists anymore. It's basically between where Brand-X used to be and Provo.
One stream I've always wondered about is near the Spanish Fork jail, it's a small stream that seems to be quite slow, it appears to have some depth to it. I've always been tempted to fish it, but I didn't want to get embarrased if there weren't fish in it and everyone knew it but me[blush]
