When shore camping it reduces costs significantly. This trip averages around $600 of gas alone, and that is if we don't make the long run to the San Juan which is one of the best places to fish on this lake.
I've gotten this trip down as I usually do it 1-2 times a year. Food rationing has become an art and gas consumption is bare minimum depending on the run.
I know the lake and the pattern better than most.
